Discovering Hidden Gems

Discovering Hidden Gems
At Cramer Imaging, we have just found some buried treasure.  Yep, that's right.  We found some hidden gems and we are so pleased with them that we want to share them with you.  We think that they are amazing finds and we hope that you will love them too.

We decided to take a look through some old photo files as we were doing some computer organization.  There were a lot of duds which had to be rejected again.  The interesting thing was that we found a few gems which we had previously missed.

Cramer Imaging's professional quality fine art photograph of a purple blooming rose at Temple Square, Salt Lake City, Utah

All of these photos come from different shoots we did in the past.  Roses are popular summer favorites for many people with cameras, professional or otherwise.  This gorgeous purple rose was simply too irresistible to not pull out my camera and shoot a picture of.

Professional quality pet portrait of a gray tabby cat with a pumpkin in Pocatello, Bannock, Idaho by Cramer Imaging

Getting darling pictures like this cat with the pumpkin are a matter of luck, timing, and preparedness with camera in hand.

Pumpkins, being a seasonal product, are available only during certain times of the year.  This makes this photograph more difficult to achieve simply due to the market window for winter squash.

Cats, while popular subjects with camera enthusiasts, can be difficult subjects.  They do not cooperate or take directions at all.  They must be interested in what they are doing or comfortable enough to not move in order to take great pictures of them.

Such was the case for me with the adorable pet cat named Tiger.   She had stationed herself comfortably on the jeans and was simply too cute to not pull out my camera for.

I had thought that this photo was lost.  Thanks to that computer organization we started, we found this photo and I'm pleased to add it to my portfolio.

Cramer Imaging's professional quality nature photograph of hoarfrost condensed into ice on tree branches in Idaho Falls, Bonneville, Idaho

Hoarfrost is a unique environmental condition where fog yields ice instead of dew.  The conditions must be right in order to see this rare phenomenon.  When it does happen, the crystallization of the moisture creates interesting ice patterns on anything it condenses on.

Cramer Imaging's professional quality fine art nature photograph of a yellow flower at Temple Square, Salt Lake City, Utah

This final treasure of a rediscovered image is this photograph of a lovely yellow flower standing out against a blurred background (also known as bokeh).

Colorful flowers, such as this one, are something seasonal just like the roses.  This one was also something that I just had to take a picture of when I saw it.

This photo was lost in a line of several photos from a recent session which I had already extracted the best photographs from.  At least the best photos from my goal of the session had been extracted and processed.  This was a side photo for the fun of it.

After the rediscovery of the previous photographs, I also found what I wanted to do with this beauty of a picture.  It simply had to join this collection.

We hope that you are dazzled by these amazing new additions to our photography portfolio.  We were extremely happy to discover these beautiful photos again.  Please enjoy them all.
