Photo of the Week 64

Photo of the Week 64
It's here.  It's Friday.  You know what that means.  It's once again tine for the Cramer Imaging featured "Photo of the Week."  This week, we are unveiling this beautiful image of dogwood flowers as our featured photo.

The story of this photo begins with a trip to Boise.  We had some business to take care of in the Idaho capital city so we drove the four and a half hours across the state to get there.  It was a long but not entirely unpleasant drive.  We passed through some scenic country on the way.

Once we arrived, we found that parking is a difficult matter in that part of the city.  There are lots of parking meters on the street parking and much of the rest of the parking is reserved for customers only.

Once we found a parking place, we took care of our business and then decided to tour the Capitol building while we were there.  We took lots of pictures that day.  It was very productive for us.

On the way back to the car, we passed a Catholic church with some dogwood trees blooming.  We don't see these trees in Pocatello.  They don't like the harsher winter that we have here.  I immediately stopped to take some photos of the flowers.

It was a matter of making sure that I got the right angle.  There was a light breeze going as well.  This made several attempts blurry.  The Catholic priest came out and saw me taking photos.  He was happy to let me do so and indicated that lots of people liked to take photos of the dogwood blossoms.  After this short session, we were on our way back home.
