Photo of the Week 150
It's another Friday morning.  We've only got a few more hours until the weekend arrives once again.  If you can keep it together, we've got something which should make the day go a little bit smoother.  Check out Cramer Imaging's featured "Photo of the Week."  This week, we've got something very special to help you pass the time.

This week, we've chosen to feature this beautiful profile photograph of a bald eagle.  Finding a bald eagle is a difficult business if you don't know what you are doing or where to go look.  Fortunately, I knew where to look for this rare wild bird.

This beautiful elder eagle is a happy resident of the Pocatello Zoo.  He is caged behind bars so small that it can be difficult to get a good shot.  Once again, fortunately, I knew exactly what to do to get this amazing shot without the tight bars in the picture as well.  It's all a matter of focus.

Once I had the focus right on this eagle, I took several shots.  He was sitting comfortably down on his perch.  I got what I thought was the shot I wanted.  I moved on to taking photos of his neighbor the hawk.  Then my spouse called me back.  The eagle had suddenly stirred.

This eagle decided that it was time to stretch his wings and perk up.  I came back quickly and reset my camera settings for focusing past the bars again.  I took several more shots and managed to capture this shot of him perked up and looking regal.  It was one of my best shots of the day.
