Fine art prints are popular in the art world.  They are also a very vague and nebulous term.  After you learn what a fine art print is, you tend to wonder how we create such an image.  It’s a good question to ask.  Here we have Vitaly from artprintsamerica.com who will define what giclée is and tell you how those kinds of prints are made.

It might be difficult to see in this video, but there is a significant quality difference between a fine art giclée print and that of a regular image print.

So now you know how a fine art print is made.  It’s a simple high end inkjet printing process which requires lots of time to get it right.  We also print them on high quality fine art paper so that it will last for years to come without fading or discoloring.

In conclusion, we hope that you’ve enjoyed learning a little bit about our process.  We use this process at Cramer Imaging to create your beautiful fine art prints.  If you have any more questions about the process, please check out this article.  If there’s something we missed in that article, please leave your questions in the comments section below.  We’d be happy to answer your fine art photography related questions.
